Partnering with NEXT

The brief for this project was to create a new innovative Autumn/ Winter 2019 Menswear collection for designs utilising print, weave and knit techniques. We created two AW2019 trend story themes; Uncompromised Function and In Flux. 

Uncompromised Function initial inspiration came from visual research development of infrastructure; focussing on structure, form, stability. 

In Flux was a lighter approach spiring from Uncompromised Function. Initial research coming from ordnance survey maps; fluidity, colour and surface texture.

Next awarded our final collection first prize, which gained each member a 2 week placement at Next.
